Steven Hirsh takes care of business at the Cooper Building at 9th and Los Angeles streets, a place that’s home to design studios, showrooms, and various businesses that provide services to the apparel trade in our city. But it’s not all a matter of business for Hirsh, who recently did a good deed for a local trade group and a bunch of kids from neighborhoods around Downtown. Hirsh made a full floor of the Cooper Building available to the Textile Association of Los Angeles (TALA) for the organization’s 64th Annual Christmas Party on afternoon of December 19, making sure that the children would have plenty of room to enjoy the food, treats and toys that come with the event each year.
